Congratulations! to Shane Clarke for training the up and coming Star " UNDUE "  I have known Shane most of my life, since I was a strapper for him aged 11 and this is a dream come true for Shane. Undue is by Commands and only a 4yo, so who knows what he and Shane have in store for us. Running third in a Group 1 and winning 7 straight before that is something you don't read about very often. Shane to me was always a horse whisperer and now he is certainly proving it to everyone. Shane has been training for 30 + years and he deserves every bit of success. The advice Shane has given me over the years is priceless and I owe every bit of my own success to him. I would not be a Bloodstock Agent without his help and I dearly thank him. Cheers Shane!  as to me you are a true Legend.

You Did It Mate! & We are all so very Proud of You & Undue

I knew the Fairytale wasn't over & I feel it is just warming up.

I am glad I was there to witness this Historical event & when you held the Cup up in the air Shane, I was so proud that I had a tear in my eye. In your speech you dedicated the win to your wonderful wife ( Elizabeth ). Whom most of us know as Liz & whom you mentioned Liz as (Mrs Clarke) as well. I have Known Liz, most of my life & I have alway's known her to be dedicated to the Horses & the most loving & caring Lady, you could ever want to meet.  ( Good on you Liz ). Shane you also dedicated the win to the Stockman, Bushies & Battlers up North & I am sure they are all very proud of your efforts in what you have achieved. You mentioned what a Great rider ( Steven Arnold ) is & how you couldn't have won without him. You also mentioned what a Great Bunch of owners you have & I know they alway's had faith in you, from speaking to them before hand. Last but not least you mentioned ( Dan ) your strapper whom you said, is the Tommy Woodcock of the North. Well Shane I know his dedication to your Horses, as I was once your strapper when you first started out as a trainer 31 years ago & even though you didn't have an "Undue" then. I was dedicated to your Horses & one Horse that I know you dearly loved called "Public Gold" or better known as "Goldie". He might not of been a Group Horse Shane, but he showed true Heart & I loved him like no other. Just like Dan loves all your Horses & especially "Undue" or better known as "Duey". ( Well done Dan ).

Undue wins his second Group1 Race in the Oakleigh Plate 2006

Shane, his Nephew Dan & his Jockey Steven Arnold do it again

Is there any stopping this trio.  Well some would say not. The fairytale continues.What a first up performance. The widest gate, got back to last & finished with a wet sail to Victory. Undue has still got it all in front of him this campaign & I wish the magic trio & Undue's owners all the very best. Good on you guys. Keep up the good work. They say it happens in 3's & the magic trio deserve it. The first Group 1 was for Shane, Liz & there owners, the second Group 1 was dedicated to Dan in which his mum & dad ( Gavin & Trudie ) & family i'm sure are all so very proud. Now fingers crossed, the third should be dedicated to Steven Arnold originally hailing from Alice Springs. One of the best jockey's to have ever sat upon a Thoroughbred Racehorse. Go get em Steven.

Undue breaks the Million Dollar Mark

3rd in The Newmarket Hcp

 

It took 2 great Fillies to hold off Undue from winning his 3rd Group1

Miss Andretti ran a Blistering Track record & Undue was gaining on them with every stride towards the line, to be beaten a 1/4 of a length to Gold Edition & 1/2 of a length to Miss Andretti over the 1200m. Full credit to Magnus who was beaten by Undue in a photo for 3rd. This means that Undue is one of the best sprinting geldings in Australia.

What a start to the 2007 Spring Carnival

Undue Proves he is a great Sprinter

Underated Undue clearly wins first up in the Listed Martha Cove Classic at Caulfield. Steven Arnold rode a beautiful race & timed his win to perfection. People are starting to finally recognise how good Undue really is. Full credit to Dan as well, who has looked after Undue from day one & rides him in trackwork as well. Looking good for that 3rd Group 1 win.

Undue runs 4th to Gold Edition beaten 1.5 Length's in the Group 1 Manikato. A gallant effort.

Undue tapers off in form in his latest 2 runs, though I'm sure he will return to form like all good racehorses do. Shane is optimistic about his return to form & we all know how good he can be, so don't give up on our "Duey" because he will never give up on us.
