The “Flaming Torch” Came Out & Placed Another Nice 6th At Pakenham Grass 35k Race Over 1400m This Time Beaten Only 5 Lengths, When Went Pretty Hard In 2nd Spot Right Up Until The 100m Mark, So Simply Couldn’t Burn The Candle At Both Ends There Either In A Very Strong Class 1 Race Inc “Ballynora” Then Contested A Listed Race At Morphettville Next Start & “Audrey Girl” Then Ran At Flemington Next Start & Then Won At Geelong Grass Next Start, So talk About Extremely Strong Fields This Fine Young 4yo Has Been Contesting & Would Certainly Appreciate A Slight Step Down In Grade In Other States for Sure 🙂

Then This 4yo Went To Kyneton Over 1400m & Tried To Do Exactly The Same Thing By Basically Going Hard Up On The Pace & Not Quite Sustaining The Run In Another Strong Victorian BM 58 Race Over 1400m, So Met Up With Racehorses Like The Winner “Cyclone Sally” & The 2nd Placegetter “Almighty Will” Who Had Both Had 5 Wins So far In Their Careers So Definitely Had His Work Cut Out Beating Seasoned Victorian Class 5 Sprinters & Not To Mention The Horse That Just Beat This Bloke In 5th Spot “Serenaur” Was Beaten 9.3 Lengths & Then Came Out Next Start & Won At Albury, So That Says It All & This 4yo Would No Doubt Do The Same If He Went Interstate As Well 🙂

Completely Forget He Went Around Last Start Though When He Went Further Up In Grade To A BM 64 Race At Echuca Worth 35k & Met Even Stronger Company There Inc The Winner “Ironedge” Who Won 2 In A Row Plus Ran At Caulfield Before That, So Is Doesn’t Get Much Stronger & Tougher Then This Talented 4yo Has Been Facing, So He Will Definitely Appreciate A Slight Step Down In Grade In Other States 🙂
